One of the most fun and awesome aspects of Comic-Con are all the contests and giveaways! Whether they are scavenger hunts, selfie pics, or lotteries, winning a SDCC contest makes for great memories- and is a badge of honor! We plan to run some contest for our Exclusive shirt, lanyards and more. However, we want you to help us choose the contest by running our own contest! By submitting a contest idea, you will be eligible to win our Exclusive Wonder Woman T-Shirt! If we choose your idea(s), we will notify you and send you a shirt after Comic-Con. Contest ideas we are looking for:
How to submit ideas:
Good luck all and thanks for participating! See you at Comic-Con!
“Get Your Hero on” contest. Tweet out or put on FB a character/superhero/ of the day, then the contestant needs to send/tweet in a photo/video of that day’s character. it could be out and about the con or even at home. it could be a static photo or a video. Then randomly select on of the entires.

Ok another contest idea. Again still straight forward. Every day on social media you post a specific character (ie – wonder woman) for the lucky comic con goers to find and take a picture of (cosplayer, poster, what ever) and post it on social media with a specific hastag (ie – #IHeartHeroWithin or #HeroWithinAtSDCC). All the people that posted a picture are entered in for a chance to win a tshirt.
I love the straight forward contests. You post a code on social media (like day one’s code is: “wonder woman’s my hero”. The person then finds your booth at comic con. They tell you the code and they get a ticket to enter the contest.
And don’t forget to also host contests online, for those like me that are not lucky enough to go to SDCC.
“Get Casual With the Justice League” Get a photo with 2 cosplayers dressed as members of the Justice League at the same time, tweet photo to @HeroWithinInc or tag @HeroWithinIn on Instagram, also tagging the cosplayers & if chosen all 3 win the WW T-shirt. If cosplayer themselves enters with cosplaying friend(s) & chosen, they win! Rules: Max 3 winners. 1 extra bonus point for every Wonder Woman cosplayer in photo. Must tag HeroWithin and #WinWithHeroWithinSDCC to win. Can only enter once via IG or Twitter.
I love me a good ’ole trivia battle! Announce ahead of time there will be trivia (maybe 2-3 xs/day) and times can vary per day (or not, choice here). First 3-4 to arrive at booth exclaiming I AM HERO WITHIN (something fun acting as password and entry) will be in the contest. Questions can vary on many subjects and level of difficulty such as DC properties, the con, and even Hero Within. All contestants get entered into a raffle drawing where they could win a very special sdcc prize pack where they need to then provide their contact info (which can be tied to all other competitions running for hero within at sdcc as well-the ultimate hero within prize pack). Every competitor for trivia gets a small prize but winner gets a bigger prize, and everyone must agree to photo and video (video of people playing trivia can be fun too). Photo of all competitors and special one for winner after each round on social media with hashtags #herowithintrivia #herowithinsdcc #herowithin #sdcc etc. my twitter: @el_venter (see you all there!)

Best photo or short video with a DC cosplay character saying or holding a sign “There is a Hero Within or I am with Hero Within”
Hero’s Within, Find the Justice League. Contestants must come to the hero-within booth and fill out contestants contact information and social media handle (aka twitter name) where they will see the clearly posted rules and deadlines. (also you can get a really easy emailing list wink wink). The contestants must find all members of the Justice League whether they are cosplayers, statues, Art Prints, then they must tweet, Instagram, Facebook (social media of choice) their photo with a caption explaining why that member of of the Justice league is a true hero-within using the hashtag #HerowithinSDCC17. Each photo gives a total of 10 points each. A photo of themselves with the herowithin booth with their favorite HeroWithin Outfit is 5 points, and if they get a photo with Tony Kim 15 points! Lastly if they can get a member of the justice league as a cosplayer and have them come to the Herowithin booth and take a photo with either one of the merchandise or just have Hero-within booth sign in the shot they get a bonus 50 points per picture! All of these photos must be completed by the deadline of Saturday by 5pm. The top contestants (aka highest points obtained) will then be placed in a random draw for the prize. The winner of the contest must pick up their prize by Noon on Sunday of the Convention at the Hero-Within booth. I can go more in-depth for the rules if you need me to :) Cheers see you at comicon 2017! Twitter @Les_Chat_Noir
I think you should have a where’s Waldo type photo contest. Have a particular character send out a pic in a location that con goers would know. Then they go and take a pic with that person and tweet that they found their hero within. Simple and fun. @utterchaos4me.

A picture tells more than a 1000 words. Create the best photo competition on Instagram. Like SDCC photo hunt, similar what @NerdyGirlie is doing, every day there’s a different theme and you pick the best photo.

Have a friend video tape you at a panel while you ask questions. In order to win the person asking questions needs to be videotaped mentioning the two words “Hero Within” somehow in their question for the panel.
I would suggest a scavenger hunt with a selfie of different cosplayers, at least 3 characters, they can make a choice of a cosplayer wonder woman, Batman, Green Lantern, Flash, Super Man, they could tweet their picture and when they are done, they could go to your booth and write their twitter username and their full name, you can choose just one and you will notify them by twitter.

I would like to see more representation of men (non-creepily) appreciating and empowering DC female characters. Whether that’s in the form of cosplay or in the form of a t-shirt or other wear. I would suggest the first person to post 10 pics representations of men supporting strong female characters through fandom at SDCC. Not sure what the hashtag would be, but maybe something that has to do with men appreciating female empowerment? ?

Scavenger hunt, pick up cards at a number of places….booths, food trucks, find a certain cosplayer. First one to find all wins

Great ideas so far. How about a daily pose off? So you could post someone modelling some Hero Within clothes in a different pose every day and people can post themselves copying that pose and include #HeroWithin. You could do classics like the Superman pose or make people do goofy things like planking.
