It has truly been heart breaking to see the massive destruction left in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. The thousands of displaced families and property damage is staggering. However, with great challenges, there is an opportunity for heroism. Most of us can't hop on a plane to physically help, but all of us can give financially. Every little bit will help our brother and sisters in Texas to find food, clothing and shelter. Below are just a few agencies that you can donate to. Direct Relief is shipping medicine and medical supplies to Texas, and has made its entire medical inventory of more than $100 million available for the Harvey relief effort.
YouCaring has a fund-raising page set up by J. J. Watt of the Houston Texans with a goal of $10 million. By 9:30 p.m. Wednesday it had raised more than $7 million.
