Nominate A Hero Winner: Angel
We wanted to honor the real life crime fighters in our community so we asked you to nominate a police officer for a chance for him/her to win a Batman Peacoat! We had some great entries and loved reading the heroic stories of our boys in blue. Our first winner is Angel- a cosplayer, US Navy Vet and officer for the New York Police Dept. Nominated by his special friend, Frenchie, this is what she had to say about him:
"Angel is amazing. He's such a great self efficient man and works hard every day to keep this city safe. As he suits up everyday I can only imagine he sees himself putting on his duty belt in the same manner batman dawns the cowl and cape along with his utility belt. His love for batman and his job go hand in hand, as he helps make others feel safe while protecting his city. He is truly one of a kind and I can't help but to feel blessed to have my very own super hero!"
