We had an amazing time at Phoenix Comicon this Memorial Day weekend! Despite the heat, fans came out in droves to enjoy the 4 days of programming, 2 showroom floors, cosplay and celebrities. It started out eventful when police apprehended an armed gunman wandering around taking photos of police officers. With a shotgun, pistols, ammo and body armor, a recipe for disaster was in the making. The gunman later confessed to targeting Green Power Ranger, Jason David Frank- who was at a booth near us! If you look at picture above, along the back wall of celebs, he is next to the last one on the right! Thankfully the worst case scenario was averted thanks to the quick action of Phoenix Police. However, it resulted in upgraded security, delayed entry and no cosplay weapons were allowed at the show. Tensions were high and some vendors had issue with this new weapons policy. Fortunately, the drama subsided and fans were able to enjoy the show.
We were so grateful for all the fans that came by to visit our booth. Our Wonder Woman Jacket was our best performer followed by the Green Lantern Jacket. Unfortunately, we still didn't have our shirts in stock at the booth but many orders were placed for later delivery. We had a special delivery of shirts sent to us directly at the show but because of a shipping mishap, the package never made it- but we pressed on. The Wonder Woman fever was at a all time high and we were excited to engage with many fans. It was packed all weekend and overall, we had a great time. Hope we can return next year. If you came by and purchased with us, welcome to the Hero Within family!

Speaking with Tony Kim and his fellow workers at Phoenix Comicon was a great experience in Customer Service and overall feeling of enjoyment talking about their products being shown. Keep up the great work and look forward to new products.
