Refresher Course Before You See Avengers Endgame
It's finally here- the end. 21 films in the making, Avengers Endgame will conclude an amazing story arc that has lasted over a decade. Even though Avengers Endgame was just a year ago, there are a lot of details to remember. We wanted to highlight a few to prepare you for this big event.
Dusted:
Black Panther, Bucky, Groot, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Mantis, Drax, Star-Lord, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Maria Hill, Nick Fury, Gamora, Loki, Heimdall and Vision. And let's not forget The Wasp, Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne.
Survivors:
Black Widow, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, War Machine, Okoye, M'Baku, Rocket, Nebula, Bruce Banner, Ant-Man, Hawkeye and Carol Danvers. Iron Man and Nebula are stranded on the planet Titan.
Gauntlet:
In the final moments of Infinity War, we caught a glimpse of the damaged glove on Thanos. It might be destroyed or it might be crippled. Either way, it probably is not at full strength.
Stormbreaker:
After the ill fated shot to Thanos' chest, Thor learned to take better aim if there is a rematch. At this point, Thor's new hammer seems to be the only weapon that could mortally wound Thanos.
Ant-Man:
Last we saw of Scott Lang, he was trapped in the quantum realm with no way back. From the trailers, he's obviously returned so we'll probably get an explanation in the early part of this film.
Hawkeye:
Last we saw Clint Barton, it was mentioned that he and Scott Lang settled for house arrest after the events of Civil War. From the trailer, after a quick stop at the barber, he seems to have violated his house arrest.
Hulk:
Because of his PTSD with his early encounter with Thanos, we barely saw the Hulk in action in the last film. At this point, the Hulk is still broken.
Frienemies:
Just a reminder that Tony and Steve haven't seen each other after their brutal fight in Civil War- so it's been several years. Not on speaking terms, their reunion will no doubt be an emotional one. Tony still has unresolved issues with Bucky Barnes as well.
