If you are a die-hard DCEU Wonder Woman fan (who isn't), looks like you'll be waiting a little longer to see the sequel. In a recent post by Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, she updated fans on her Instagram with the following:
"Super excited to announce that, thanks to the changing landscape, we are able to put Wonder Woman back to its rightful home. June 5, 2020. Be there or be square!!! ✨🙅♀️✨"
Moving from November of 2019 to June the following year is a pretty big leap. The big question on our minds is what does this mean? Was there a production or story issue that requires extensive reshoots? Is there a larger DCEU strategic plan needing Wonder Woman to be released later? Or is it just a strategic move to secure a prime spot as a summer tentpole release? Either way, we can't wait to see this sequel and will be anxiously counting down the day!
