Comic Book Donation Today
Because of you, Hero Within is donating over 300 comic books (bagged & boarded) to a foster children event in California today. A special Christmas event is being hosted in Orange County where foster families can come to eat food, play games and receive special Christmas gifts. Normally, the kids can pick out toys or games but this year, they will have comic books to add to their loot! 12-18 yr old teens will get a chance to pick out a few titles to hopefully encourage them on their tough journey. Most of these children have gone into the foster care system as a result of abuse or neglect. We are grateful for the courage of the foster families to invite open up their homes for these precious kids- and now we are excited to bless them in this small way. Thank you all for your support of Hero Within and more opportunities like this to come!
