Energize Lounge returns to San Diego Comic-Con
We could not be more excited for San Diego Comic-Con 2024! Hero Within will be at our normal location at booth #1943 and will have new Star Trek Exclusives just for you. However, besides new merch, we are proud to announce the sequel of our offsite activation in the Gaslamp called ENERGIZE LOUNGE II: The Wrath of Con! This intimate themed experience will give you a chance to refuel on coffee, explore official Star Trek licensed brands and connect with fellow Trek fans. Featuring themed coffee & caffeinated drinks, fans will be 'energized' for a busy week at Comic-Con. Located right across the street from the convention center, the Energize Lounge will be just 1 block away (see map below):
Near the corner of 4th & J St next to Fuku Sushi.

Energize Lounge Partners:
Besides having Hero Within's Star Trek Collection on display, we are also partnering with other officially licensed Star Trek brands. The Energize Lounge will feature Star Trek promos from Starfleet Command, Star Trek Wines, Star Trek Cruise and The Wand Company. Jedidiah Coffee is an amazing SoCal coffee roaster and will be offering quick canned cold brews (for purchase) to go along with a variety of other drinks/bottled water.
Featured Artists
We are honored to feature the Star Trek art of Kavita Maharaj of Retrospect Studios. She'll have a few of her prints on display. We will also have a few canvas prints from amazing artist Jenny R Johnson
Giveaway Partners
A new addition this year's Energize Lounge are Giveaway Partners. These great companies are providing fun items that will either be given as giveaways to coffee customers or hourly contests throughout the day. The week's schedule will be Factory Entertainment Thursday, Fansets Friday and Pop Insider
Why the Energize Lounge?
During Comic-Con, we have so many lovely conversations at our booth with Star Trek fans. However, it's unfortunate that it's so brief and during the chaos of the booth. So we wanted to create a separate space where fans can relax, connect and nerd out over a cup of coffee. Whether you are a Comic-Con attendee, Hero Within customer or Star Trek fan, we hope you make time to get energized at the Energize Lounge!
Event Schedule (Non-ticketed but limited to first come/capacity basis):
- Preview Night: Sneak peek from 9p-10:30
- Thu-Sat: TRICORDER Demos by The Wand Company: 10a, 2p & 7p
- Friday: Wine Tasting hosted by Star Trek Wines (7p-9p)
- Saturday: SDCC Away Team Mixer & Open House (8p-10p)
Podcasting or interviews:If you are interested in recording a podcast for your outlet, we will have a limited amount of reserved slots for each day. If you are interested, make a request to Info@HeroWithinStore.com. If approved, a small bar table will be reserved in your name for a 1.5 hour record session (must bring your own equipment). Please make sure you are approved before arriving.
