10th Anniversary Panel at San Diego Comic-Con
Now that the dust has finally settled from Comic-Con, we wanted to take a moment to look back on one of the most meaningful moments in Hero Within’s 10-year history: our 10th Anniversary Panel.
When we first pitched the idea of hosting an anniversary panel, we honestly weren’t sure if it would even get approved. And once it became a reality, a whole new wave of anxiety set in.
We had one hour on a busy Thursday at Comic-Con. Would anyone actually give up part of their convention day to come celebrate with us?
As it turns out… you did
We were completely blown away by the turnout, the energy in the room, and the incredible support from everyone who joined us. Seeing so many familiar faces—and so many new ones—made the entire experience incredibly special.
And then, during my opening introduction, the team completely surprised me.
They presented me with a commemorative photo book chronicling the past 10 years of Hero Within. Seeing those memories, milestones, products, conventions, and moments all collected in one place was incredibly emotional. I was truly touched, and it was a reminder of just how much has happened over the past decade.
During the panel, we took a trip through Hero Within’s history, sharing some of the significant stories, challenges, victories, and memorable moments from each of our 10 years. It was a chance to look back at where we started, how much we’ve grown, and all of the amazing experiences we’ve shared along the way.
Of course, no Hero Within celebration would be complete without some giveaways!
We gave away a ton of Hero Within items throughout the panel, answered questions from our fans, shared stories, laughed a lot, and most importantly, got to spend an hour celebrating 10 Heroic Years with the people who helped make it all possible.
But honestly, the biggest takeaway for me was simply being in that room.
I was so touched by everyone who took time out of their busy Comic-Con schedules to celebrate with us. Ten years is a huge milestone, but it wouldn't mean nearly as much without the incredible community that has supported Hero Within along the way.

You helped make our 10th Anniversary one of the best Comic-Cons we’ve ever had, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
